Vancouver based EN-CAMP INTERNATIONAL has been conducting academic research pertaining to mining camp quality of life since 2003. The firm has isolated over 70 physical and psycho-social livability markers that strongly correlate with worker perceptions of camp quality of life no matter where in the world. It is an understanding of these interrelated markers that allows EN-CAMP's planners, psychologists, sociologists and mining engineers to formulate preventative prescriptions and solutions that enhance both worker well-being and productivity.

New Enterprise

EN-CAMP's new venture, to commence in 2009, will help arm those seeking industry employment with objective, 1st hand research information about the "quality of life" in the world's mining camps. The information presented will include numerical ratings and narrative analysis explaining the degree to which camps are good, bad or otherwise.

At the aggregate level this service will add to the overall transparency of the mining industry and stimulate a higher quality of camp livability around the globe.
